Dr Helena is the one with the fabulous hair, if you like dark exotic curls. She hails from Melbourne, and it took her quite a while to figure out that the healing profession of Chiropractic was where she wanted to be. Helena had finished a degree in Biomedical Sciences which tips you into research before she realised that helping people personally was what she wanted to do. Chiropractic was the obvious answer.

Though what we’ve noticed is that ‘researchy’ part of her is never far away. She has always got a couple of text books underway, or is reading articles and research papers. She loves learning new techniques and processes that will help her help you.

Dr Helena, like all the health professionals at SHG is super passionate about what she does. She believes that everybody deserves great health, and to live a life pain free… she endeavours to deliver that ethos to the patients in her care..

When she isn’t at work, Helena hangs outdoors with her black labrador, Pacey. She plays multiple musical instruments and loves composing her own music. She enjoys most sports, especially tennis, and takes great pride in telling everyone that she has actually adjusted tennis players at the Australian Open.

When you come and see Dr.Helena she takes her time. Helena wants to understand and gain an insight into your lifestyle, needs and health goals. She practices a range of chiropractic techniques catered to the individual she’s working with. These include gentle manual adjusting, cranial therapy, and applied kinesiology (AK).
